README for Lunar Excavators Space ================================= Hiding the windows ------------------ Using the menu at the top of the screen, select Windows, then Hide All. To show the windows again, select Windows, then Show All. Individual windows may be "rolled up" by double-clicking on their title bar. Moving the viewpoint -------------------- The Forward and Back arrow keys move the camera forward and backward The Left and Right arrow keys rotate the camera left and right PgUp tilts the camera up PgDown tilts the camera down What windows are what? ---------------------- Balovnev Parameters: This controls the "constants" used in the simulation of volumetric friction. These are applied to all excavators. Vehicle Agent Controller: To take manual control of a vehicle, select its ID here. Moving the vehicle W Forward A Turn Left D Turn Right S Reverse E Brake These keys are laid out in an triangle on the left of your keyboard W E A S D Joint Control: Lists the keys used to manually operate the excavators. These should only be used when manually operating that excavator. Data Logging: Turns logging on and off. The log data is writted to the folder the space is installed to, by default in My Documents\Digital Spaces\Moon Layers 3\ Shadow Mode: Which method should be used for rendering shadows. Front End Loader, Bucket Wheel Excavator, Chalm Shell Excavator These windows control the failure modes for each excavator. The type of failure model can be selected as a tab, the parameters for that excavator entered, then applied by using the Apply button.
